Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Insurance Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our esteemed insurance agency. Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for commercial lines clients, establishing and nurturing strong relationships. Understand clients' unique business needs and risk profiles to recommend appropriate insurance coverages and risk management solutions.

Policy Analysis and Management: Oversee a range of commercial lines insurance policies, including General Liability, Property, Workers' Compensation, Commercial Auto, and Professional Liability, among others. Review policy coverage and limits, identify gaps, and provide expert advice for comprehensive protection.

New Business Development: Collaborate with the sales team to support business growth initiatives, including lead generation, prospecting, and client onboarding. Leverage existing client relationships to explore cross-selling and upselling opportunities.

Policy Issuance and Renewals: Facilitate the timely issuance of new policies and policy renewals. Ensure all necessary documentation is accurate, complete, and in compliance with industry standards.

Claims Assistance: Guide clients through the claims process and act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers. Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure fair and efficient claims resolution.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct risk assessments for commercial clients, analyzing their operations, exposures, and loss histories. Offer risk management strategies to minimize potential liabilities.

Market Research and Analysis: Stay up-to-date with market trends, industry regulations, and changes in commercial insurance products. Utilize this knowledge to provide clients with innovative and tailored insurance solutions.

Compliance and Documentation: Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements in all insurance transactions. Maintain accurate and organized client records and documentation in the agency management system.

Customer Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally. Proactively anticipate client needs and provide proactive solutions.

Performance Metrics: Achieve and exceed performance targets related to client retention, new business growth, and overall portfolio profitability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager, Commercial Insurance Agent, or a similar role within the insurance industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and risk management strategies.
  • Familiarity with agency management systems and insurance-related software.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex insurance concepts effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Active insurance licenses (e.g., Property & Casualty) as required by state regulations or willingness to obtain them.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing outstanding customer service and building lasting client relationships.
